KUNV 91.5 The Rebel HD2 is Nevada’s only student run (professionally advised) radio station broadcasting from the campus of UNLV. Listen anywhere online, via our mobile app or on an HD radio. The programming is as diverse as the student population. The station is active on campus through social media and bi-weekly onsite performances featuring music, spoken word and other interactive entertainment at the Rebel HD2 booth right outside the student union. Not only is the station a student voice, it’s an opportunity for students to gain invaluable real-world experience that they can take with them in their job search upon graduation. Monies raised through sponsorship support continuing student education programming. Recent graduates are working with the UFC, the Raiders organization, and various media outlets, using their acquired skills through working with KUNV and Rebel Media Group.

Our History
KUNV is licensed by the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) to broadcast as non-commercial educational radio station (NCE) on an analog FM frequency of 91.5. The station is also licensed by the FCC to broadcast digitally (HD-Radio) and is authorized to broadcast two distinct digital channels: KUNV-HD and KUNV-HD2.
91.5 The Rebel HD-2 is a noncommercial, community/college radio station, broadcasting on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). The station is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with EIN number 85-3496113. KUNV HD-2 supports a variety of music genres and community programming. KUNV HD-2 The Rebel serves University of Nevada, Las Vegas students and members of the greater Southern Nevada area as an educational resource and outlet for creative expression, and is committed to furthering the interests of our community.
